On April 25th, 2004, Ani DiFranco joined 1,150,000 people at the March for Women's Lives in Washington, D.C. to voice her support for women's rights. As an Honored Guest, she marched in the front row for the three-mile route, along with Margaret Cho, Janeane Garofalo, Whoopi Goldberg, Gloria Steinem and many others. Later in the day, Ani played a few songs on the main stage in front of the Capitol, including "Your Next Bold Move". Ani and her manager, Scot Fisher, were both in attendance to lend their voices and homemade signs to the march. Christine Lahti, Whoopi Goldberg, Frances Fisher and others are on the left, pounding the pavement for the cause.

Something on the left has caught everyone's eye, but you can still see that a feminist looks like Scot Fisher. Where did all the other guys with feminist signs go?

Between marching and performing, Ani spends time talking with Margaret Cho and Howard Dean.

Women that rrrock! Here's a great shot of Ani and Joan Jett.
