Ani DiFranco Glenside November 11, 2012
Head back to 2012 and relive this performance at the Keswick Theatre in Glenside, PA, which marked Ani’s 10th show at that venue. In between songs, you’ll hear Ani discuss everything from the 2012 presidential election when our biggest worry was Mitt Romney (oh the good ol’ days) to the books she’s reading and her daughter’s views on gender. This bootleg features Todd Sickafoose on bass and Terence Higgins on drums.
The two disc recording includes the first bootleg appearances of two classic fan favorites “The Whole Night” and “Joyful Girl.” It’s also the first time for “Woe Be Gone”, “Genie” and “Careless Words” from her latest release Allergic to Water, which, at the time, was still a work in progress.
