This album was funded by a $25,000 Kickstarter campaign and co-produced by June Millington (Fanny) and Brett Bullion (Now, Now, Bon Iver, Lizzo). Recorded in Minneapolis and Western Massachusetts in the dead of winter, described by Nashville's The Scene and WNXP as "War In the Living Room kind of goes all over the rock world, from R&B to power pop and beyond." Kristen's first release on vinyl, each record has a grey swirl running through a translucent vinyl, each one a unique work of art. The CD folds out to include more photos from a wild shoot in a Kansas City, Kansas trailer park, where a decomposing owl was considered, but never filmed.
